In this webinar, Cathy will share her Mystic Totem technique that takes the best of all of those worlds and mixes them with mystery, markings, and imagination to create stunning pieces that imitate the age-old tradition of storytelling.

Cathy will show you how to start with a highly dimensional large base, then add precisely cut pieces of glass that “speak” to you and are complementary to the base. Surface decoration is then incorporated that creates mood and color, defines fields, and adds texture and finish to complete your unique Mystic Totem!

Cathy Claycomb is nationally recognized for self-developed signature art forms. Her artwork displayed in galleries and private collections across the country; as well as abroad. 

Cathy has been an instructor and lecturer at a variety of classes at the major glass conventions throughout the country and at selected galleries. Past venues include: Las Vegas, San Antonio, Chicago, Long Beach, Nashville, Orlando, Denver, Phoenix, Sedona, etc.
