In this Webinar, designed for all skill levels, Cathy will demonstrate how to create a high-profile "solderfield" with decorative, sculptured solder on which to design a contemporary work.

She will give detailed instructions on surface preparation, full solder coverage, reinforcing techniques, and adding gracefully shaped head glass and other decoration directly to the solder surface. Cathy will finish this class with tips on patina techniques that are sure to add a rich drama to your piece.

Cathy Claycomb is nationally recognized for self-developed signature art forms. Her artwork displayed in galleries and private collections across the country; as well as abroad. 

Cathy has been an instructor and lecturer at a variety of classes at the major glass conventions throughout the country and at selected galleries. Past venues include: Las Vegas, San Antonio, Chicago, Long Beach, Nashville, Orlando, Denver, Phoenix, Sedona, etc.
